I have been working for the past 19 years as a Paramedic. I am looking to "get off the streets" and utilize my knowledge of different types of medicine. I also have previous hospital experience and would like to combine it with the education I receive working through the MSW program to take the next step in my professional career.  I helped my organization be the first in my area to obtain pediatric accreditation that focuses above the standard and provides additional training and equipment to serve the pediatric population better.  I was appointed the Pediatric EMS Care Coordinator that oversees that program and works with area hospitals, agencies, and families to provide safe and quality care.
