Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Project Scope:

Work with proven sales and marketing professionals to create collateral and other social media content, and have the opportunity to engage directly with Chief Executive  Officers and Executive Directors of some of the world’s most recognized brands. This team will be tasked with the following weekly work items over the course of the project:  
  • Conducting customer interviews to gather outcomes and supporting metrics
  • Market research: how to conduct this, what questions to ask, discussions around  business models and pricing insights, and how to use these insights to create rate sheet strategies moving forward 
  • Customer profiles: how to create this, what attributes to list, discussions around key  insights, and how to compare these insights to determine prospect targeting strategies moving forward  
  • Customer case studies: how to create this, what questions to ask, discussions around  key challenges and their solutions, and how to use these insights to determine prospect  targeting strategies moving forward 
  • Media kits: how to create this, what questions to ask, discussions around key PR  insights, and how to use these insights to get media placement moving forward
  • Content strategy for each social media channel: defining this and how to execute 
  • Engagement strategy for each social media channel: defining this and how to execute
  • Production of videos and other creatives for various social channels 
This project provides an opportunity to develop both sides of the Iconically marketplace and gain an understanding of both community and business development. One team will work with a world-renown community coach to build a connected community of some of the world’s most iconic influencers using the Discord community server. This team will be tasked with the  following weekly work items over the course of the project:  
  • Clarifying the purpose and goals of the community  
  • Defining the success and measurable outcomes for the community 
  • Community members research: how to conduct this, what questions to ask, discussions  around member insights, and how to use these member insights to determine content &  engagement strategies moving forward 
  • Content strategy for the community: defining this and how to execute 
  • Engagement strategy for the community: defining this and how to execute • Community housekeeping required to manage current members and content to keep  member satisfaction high 
  • How to collect valuable feedback from community members and improve the member  experience 
  • Building a community team: how to scale the community as membership and  engagement continues to grow 

Deliverables:
  • Deliverables include a vibrant Discord community, customer case studies, client rate sheets,  press media kits, and social media content. The work products of the above-outlined project tasks will serve as the deliverables for each team.

Desired Student Skillset:
  • This project will require the teams to have a mix of technical and creative skillsets, including server administration and configuration, website development, video editing, graphics design, and creative and technical writing. Students from programs of study such as BI&A, AMBA, and IS are encouraged to apply for this project.
  • The Company has an internal mandate for 50% or more of the organization to be female hires and is currently at 50/50. Although the student resources are not employees, we would like to abide by the spirit of our mandate, if at all possible. 
  •  This project will require the teams to have a mix of technical and creative skillsets, including server administration and configuration, website development, video editing, graphics design, and creative and technical writing.
