About Students

The Industry Capstone Program (ICP) at the Stevens School of Business is a great opportunity for corporations and talented graduate students to work together on a semester-long project. Students work as a team, with faculty support, on real-world business problems and provide appropriate assistance and recommendations to our corporate partners. The collaboration provides business graduate students with industry experience critical to their career success, while corporations gain fresh perspectives on their business challenges and the chance to mentor budding professionals.

Program Goals
The program provides students with practical consulting experience and helps industry partners gain innovative insights and actionable recommendations. Goals include: 
 1. Applying advanced business frameworks to solve real business problems. 
 2. Strengthening students' collaborative and analytical skills in diverse team environments. 
 3. Creating a talent pipeline for companies through early exposure to top-performing students. 
 4. Delivering industry-relevant recommendations on areas like operations, marketing, and finance, ensuring immediate value for participating companies.
